Terms of use and sale
Julie’s Hub — last updated: 15 October 2026
This page is an English translation of the French version. In case of discrepancy, the French version prevails.
1. Purpose
These terms govern the use of the Julie’s Hub app, published by Ludovic Lartigau. Using the app means accepting these terms.
2. The service
Julie’s Hub is a personal and family organiser app: tasks, agenda, notes and folders, recipes, wishlists, budget, mood tracking, menstrual tracking, timetable, and events shared with guests (Hub+).
It works entirely without an account. Your data then stays on your device, and nothing leaves it. Creating an account is only needed to back up to the cloud, find your data on another device and share with the members of your hub. The only exception is Hub+: taking part in a Hub+ event as a guest sends your first name and what you enter to that event (see the privacy policy).
3. Your account
•
An account is reserved for people over 15. Below that age, use is under a parent’s responsibility.
•
You are responsible for keeping your credentials and the unlock code you choose confidential.
•
You can delete your account at any time from Settings › Delete my account.
4. Your content
What you create belongs to you. The publisher claims no right over it, does not exploit it and does not pass it on to anyone.
You are responsible for what you save and what you share, particularly when you share information about other people. Unlawful or hateful content, content infringing others’ rights, and any use intended to harm the service or its users, are prohibited.
Imported recipes. The app can import a recipe from a website or a photo, on your own initiative and for your personal, private use, under the private copy exception (article L122-5 of the French Intellectual Property Code). These recipes remain the property of their authors and of the sites that publish them. You undertake not to distribute or exploit them beyond the private circle of your hub. You alone are responsible for the content you import and how you use it; the publisher merely formats it at your request, does not publish it and can in no case be held liable for its use.
5. Sharing, hubs and Hub+
A hub brings together up to six people. What you share in it becomes visible to the members concerned, and to them alone. Withdrawing a share removes it on their side; what they created themselves stays theirs.
You enter a hub with an invitation code given by its host: it is single-use and valid for 24 hours. The host can exclude a member; this exclusion revokes the shares you had opened to them.
Hub+ (one-off events). An organiser with an account can open a shared space for an event and invite up to 30 people with a link or a QR. Guests need neither the app nor an account: a first name is enough. Every participant sees what is entered in it (first names, what to bring or organise, expenses, schedule, practical info).
The organiser chooses what to share, can remove a participant and renew the invitation link. They are responsible for what they publish there and for the people they invite — minors only take part with a parent’s agreement. Everyone remains responsible for what they enter.
The content of a Hub+ is erased automatically 30 days after the event ends; the event stays in everyone’s Planner. The “accounts” (who owes whom), in a Hub+ as in a shared budget, are an indicative calculation: the app neither receives nor transfers any money and is not a payment service; everyone settles what they owe directly with the others.
6. Availability
The app is provided as is. The publisher endeavours to keep it working properly but guarantees neither uninterrupted availability nor the absence of errors. Functions that depend on third-party services — backup, notifications, weather, Julia — may be suspended beyond the publisher’s control.
The cloud backup does not replace a personal backup. Exporting your data is available at any time in the settings, and keeping a copy is recommended.
If you take a paid subscription, you benefit for its whole duration from the legal guarantee of conformity that applies to digital content and services (articles L. 224-25-12 et seq. of the French Consumer Code).
7. Liability
The publisher cannot be held liable for indirect damage resulting from use of the app, nor for loss of data of which no copy was kept. None of these limits applies in case of gross or intentional fault.
Mood tracking and menstrual tracking are personal note-taking tools. They are neither medical advice nor a medical device, and do not replace a professional’s opinion. Cycle estimates (period, ovulation, fertile window) are indicative: they are not a method of contraception.
The answers and suggestions generated by Julia (the AI assistant) are produced automatically and are purely indicative: it is up to you to check them before any decision or action.
8. Personal data
How your data is processed is described in the privacy policy, which forms an integral part of these terms.
9. Free use and subscription
The app is free and ad-free. The organising functions — tasks, agenda, notes, recipes, wishes, budget, mood tracking, menstrual tracking, timetable — are used without paying and without an account.
An optional subscription, the hub subscription, gives access to the online backup, to synchronisation between your devices and to sharing with the members of your hub. A single subscription covers the whole hub, up to six people: the host takes it out, and the members they invite have nothing to pay. Organising a Hub+ is included in this subscription; taking part as a guest is free and needs no account.
During the test (beta) phase, creating a hub is free and no payment is requested. You will be told in the app before this period ends, and nothing will be charged to you without your choosing it.
•
€3.99 per month, or
•
€35.99 per year.
Prices are in euros. For a payment by card (web, iPhone, iPad): VAT not applicable, article 293 B of the French General Tax Code. On Android, the displayed price includes the applicable taxes, collected by Google Play. Prices may change; a change never applies to a period already paid, and you are informed before the next renewal.
10. Payment and renewal
On Android, the subscription is sold through Google Play, which collects payment using the methods registered in your Google account. On the web, iPhone and iPad, it is paid by bank card to Stripe, a payment provider. In both cases, the publisher never sees your bank details.
It is renewed automatically at each due date, monthly or yearly, unless cancelled before the renewal date.
11. Right of withdrawal
You may withdraw from a subscription within fourteen days of taking it out, without having to give a reason. How you do so depends on where you subscribed:
•
On Android (Google Play): the subscription is sold and paid for through Google Play. Withdrawal and refunds follow Google Play’s terms, and the request is addressed to Google. The publisher assists you at the contact address below.
•
On the web, iPhone and iPad (bank card, Stripe): you contract directly with the publisher. Write to the contact address below within the fourteen days: the publisher refunds you, no later than fourteen days after your request, using the same means of payment.
If, at the time of purchase, you expressly asked for the service to start immediately, then on withdrawing you pay the amount proportional to the service already provided until your request. This request is put to you at payment; until you accept it, the service does not start and the period keeps running.
Withdrawal can be exercised once, at subscription: it does not start again at each renewal. You can, however, cancel at any time (section 12).
12. Cancelling the subscription
Cancellation is done from your Google Play account (Subscriptions section) for a subscription taken out on Android, or from the round bubble of the bottom bar › My hub for a subscription paid by card. It is possible at any time at no cost, and takes effect at the end of the current period, which you keep in full.
On expiry, the online backup and sharing stop, for you and for the members of your hub. The app and your data remain usable on your device, and export remains available in the settings. The online copy is kept for as long as your account exists: you can erase it at any time (Settings › Delete my account).
13. Duration of the service
You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it, and delete your account from the settings. The publisher may suspend an account in case of serious breach of these terms, after informing you where possible.
14. Changes
These terms may change along with the app. The update date appears at the top of the page, and any substantial change will be flagged to you in the app.
15. Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by French law. In case of difficulty, write first to contact@julieshub.com. Failing an amicable agreement within two months, you may use a consumer mediator free of charge: [name, address and website of the mediator to be completed], and then take the matter to the competent French courts.
